October birthdays and anniversaries.

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

Heres a couple of Tommy Cooper ones.
I was in the Jungle and there was a monkey with a tin opener in his hand.
I said... you don't need a tin opener to peel a banana.
He said....No, this is for the custard.

Doc. I can't stop singing ...The Geen Green Grass Of Home.
That sounds like Tom Jones syndrome.
Is It Common.
It's Not Unusual.

As we are doing some jokes on here, I have just remembered on of George's old ones--

2 farmers talking---

Farmer 1---what did you give your cows when they had the colic.
Farmer 2---I gave them turpetine.

following week---

Farmer 1---I gave my cows turpentine---and they all died !
Farmer 2---So did mine !!!!!!!

Perhaps not so funny without George's made-up country voice-over ...

We liked Georges joke Marian.
Martin Gold the comedian who was Al Martino's warm up artist said, we should all make the most of our lives and have a laugh and treat every day as though it's going to be our last .....and one day we'll be right. :lol

As I said, it was much funnier when George told it--I heard it many times--like all his jokes, but they always made me laugh
