SPECIAL DAYS IN DECEMBER.

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

Hi John, hope Uncle Wright has had a lovely time today on his 90TH Birthday.
It's nice that he will be celebrating with a friend today, and he knows that in you he has a most wonderful and caring nephew who thinks about him every day. :)
Hope Peggy stays well Karl. She is lucky to have you as a friend. :)

I have just had an email from Ohio telling me a relative has passed away, we knew it was just a matter of time but at this tiime of year it always seems worse. I last met Pearle several years ago at a family wedding - she was a lovely person.

Always sad to lose someone--especially at Christmas time-really sorry to hear about Pearle.

Today is our son Alan's 58th Birthday. ( wow !!! where have those years gone). We weren't able to visit him today so we went to see him on Tuesday for lunch and tea out, and took his presents, cards and a Birthday cake.
He will be with his friends this afternoon in Taunton for a carol service and he is going to be mentioned, and tonight there is a meal booked in his favourite pub restaurant. :)

Sorry to hear about your friend Karl. It is sad to lose someone at any time of the year, but somehow at Christmas time, it always seems so much worse. :(

Happy 58th to you son Alan, Lena and Harry!! It's nice that you guys did that for him. My Mum and Dad do that for my siblings, their spouses, and grandkids on their birthdays and if they are out of state, my Mum still bakes a cake on their birthdays. Hmmm...now if my Mum would let me have a slice of one of her Yule Logs, I'd stop being a brat!! LOL

I hope Alan has a nice birthday meal at the pub L&H.

I just sent off condolence cards to Ohio for Pearle's family. I remembered I did meet her again on a trip I made after the wedding and we all went our for a meal, she was in fine spirits then.
There are pictures somewhere, I must look for them.

I can remember after the wedding she wrote to my mum and said I was (and I quote) A Fine Young Man). Aw schucks!!!!!
