Thank You very much John, Sandra and John Karl and Robert for your Happy Birthday wishes.
Had a meal out on Tuesday to celebrate with Ten family members and a meal out for us with our son last night.
Harry's Sister -in- law's family are Norwegian and put a post on Facebook Karl.

I did too on my face page, the Norwegian flag which is rather nostalgic to our family as we had a wreath made to resemble the flag when our dad passed away.

It's those first certain dates that we have to deal with and today Harry's Birthday has been somewhat emotional, but I am coping and happy and proud to say that up to now Alan is coping too.

Memorable dates are always special Lena, things get easier with time but we never forget them. I am now not that far off being double the age I was when my dad died, it's a strange feeling and he's been gone so long it's almost like he was never here - does that make sense?

Thank you so much for remembering John. She was 98 on Empire Day May 24th.She is now house bound and bed bound but managed to smile throughout the day.She wonders why she is still here but I don't think that she is going anywhere yet

Thankyou John Mum Mum is finally now at peace .She died on Saturday evening June 1st and we were with her.
I will be back on the forum soon xx
