Next Saturday, 7th June will be my Dad's birthday, he will be 87.

1921 ... a great year. 8) My dad was born that year too and celebrated his 87th at the beginning of the year. :)

We'll be out for dinner that night celebrating my cousins Birthday that's on the 8th. He'll be 75. :lol: :lol:

Thanks Marian, Paul, Lena and Harry. I think he is looking more forward to next week when 2 of his sisters are coming to Blackpool for a few days. He always says he doesn't look forward to them coming but he is always sorry to see them go home. :lol: :wink:

Happy birthday to your Dad for tomorrow John.

And also a belated thought for those who were fighting on the beaches in Operation Overlord 64 years ago today. It makes me feel very humble, and grateful for the freedom that my generation have enjoyed as a result of all their selfless actions.

Thanks everyone again for all the good wishes you sent my Dad on his birthday, it was a quiet day as usual, but at least like I said earlier, he will have a bit of extra company next week. :lol:
