On the 12th August my Aunt Edith and Uncle Wright will be celebrating their 58th wedding anniversry and the following day on the 13th it will be her 81st birthday.

A great achievement and just Two years to the Golden.
Happy Birthday also to your Aunt Edith on the 13th, my cousin Dennis shares the same Birthday. He will be 79.

Thankyou Marian. I have to admit I made a mistake though. Their anniversary was on the 5th August and not the 12th, I don't know why I thought that. So they celebrated it on Tuesday.

It is my cousin Howard's birthday today--he is the nearest cousin to me in age, just a few years younger than me.

However, I had some bad news over the weekend, from his sister, Tina----Howard is very ill, and in hospital having tests, scans etc. We are all awaiting news on his condition.

Before we leave August, has anyone noticed how very few birthdays, anniversaries etc there have been in August.

For example in ---

May, there were 133 posts

in October 116 posts

in June 102 posts.

While August only made 9 ---yes 9 posts!!

At least I have now got poor neglected August into double figures !!

I know only two people whose birthdays are in August, the majority of our family and friends birthdays seem to be in April and October. Strange isn't it that so few occur in August.

It's Happy Birthday to my niece Kay for tomorrow the 25th, she will be 52.

It was my Cousin Denis's 80th on the 13th that we celebrated in Gosport but I forgot to post it

We've got a few for September though.
