Welcome to the forum, Anna!
We look forward to your contributions!

Can I be really nosey & ask if your musical interest lies more with Matt Monro Snr or Jnr?

Awww thank you - and what a lovely photo - is that your baba child?

My musical interests are with both Jnr and Snr now! As in if you had asked me that question a wee while back I would have said Snr cause I hadn't actually heard MM Jnr sing! Truly! MM Snr's music I have had for a long time. I think i first heard MM snr on the (now sadly late!) Alan Dell Show - on Radio 2. Now I'm very very pleased to have seen and heard the lovely MM Jnr - I'm a staunch fan of BOTH!!!

Great to welcome you to the forum Anna, and nice to see your photo there too.
Glad to know that you have been able to see Matt Jnr in concert, so join in our discussions about both Matt Snr and Matt Jnr, whenever you can.
Take care of that cough Anna and hope you'll soon feel better :)

Hi Anna

Yes, that is my eldest daughter Holly, I also have a younger daughter named Cate.
They are 6 & 4 years old.

Do you have any particular favourite song(s) by Matt Snr?
Also, how did you discover his music? Parental influence or through movies!? :)

Hope your cough is getting better!

A big hello from me Anna--nice to hear from you and see your photo.

I love Edinburgh, and have been there several times--I have a couple of friends who live there.

Hi again Anna--one of my friends lives in Craigmount Hill---near to the airport ---the other friend lived right in the heart of Edinburgh-called Bread Street, and when I stayed with her, I could see Edinburgh castle from my bedroom. She now lives somewhere else-still in central Edinburgh, a place called Lady Nairne Loan.

My dad actually went to school in Edinburgh--called Castle Hill School--again -near the castle. It is still there, as I visited it some years ago, but I do not think it is used as a school now.
