There Comes a Point...

Post by Michele Monro » Thu Aug 11, 2011 7:50 pm

There comes a point in your life when you realise:
Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore....
And who always will.
So don't worry about people from your past,
There's a reason they didn't make it to your future.

Deep stuff Michele! I like it though. As we all get older it's important to focus on what really matters. As we grow wiser we see where we need to spend time and effort...and where we dont. It's very important to get rid of all the negative baggage from the past, we can't change what happened, but we can learn from it and vow to become a better person because of it. I find that people who hang on to negative things for what seems like forever....either don't know how to move on...or are afraid to do so. Like is too short for that. Sorry to rant...just attended a family gathering....you know how those go...
