A note from a Nevada voter has a very good point...

Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed. Now we are trusting the economy of our country to a pack of nit-wits who couldn't make money running a whore house.

Reminds me of a quote I heard from an American at election time some years ago:
"If God had intended us to have a President, He'd have given us a Candidate"

More bad news from the Credit Crunch front,
this time from Japan: Origami Bank has folded,
Sumo bank has gone belly up, and Bonsai Bank
plans to cut some branches. It has just been announced
that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will go for a song,
while shares in Kamakazi Bank have nosedived. Samurai
Bank is soldiering on after sharp cutbacks and yesterday
300 staff at Karate Bank got the chop. Reports suggest
that something fishy is going on at Sushi Bank where staff
are reportedly getting a raw deal.
