Who Matters

Post by Michele Monro » Wed May 13, 2009 12:06 pm

This lovely poem was sent to me by Freda - it is so nice I wanted to share it.

There comes a point in your life when you realise:
Who matters
Who never did
Who won't anymore
And who always will...
So, don't worry about people from your past
There's a reason why they didn't make it to your future

I am a fan of "real music".
Music performed by Matt Monro, Frank Sinatra and their piers. I once made an album with Humphrey Lyttelton. I play harmonica. The latest CD " Baz with the Jazz legends" is selling well. ( I sell it via my website)

People from our past who will always matter are..
Our family, who made us what we are, and will live on in us into our future and beyond.
Our friends, who travelled along the way with us and will always live on in our hearts.
Strangers who gave their lives for the freedom and privileges we have now.
All these people from our past are an important part of our future.
Marian :)
