Bubba Smith

Bubba Smith the guy who played the big cop from the Police Academy movies has been found dead in his LA home - thought to be of natural causes, he was 66.

Bubba was funny in his role and was well known for his "sound affects".

R.I.P. Bubba and thanks for the laughs.

He was also a American football player. Also others who passed were Rob Grill from the 60's rock band The Grass Roots and Dan Peek for 70's soft rock band America.
