As we edge nearer to the New Year, what resolutions are you putting in place?

My main resolution is to post a few more
Matt Monro-inspired poems:

WE GET ALONG WITHOUT YOU VERY WELL

We get along without you very well,
of course we do,
except watching a show,
hearing once more saxophone-like tones soar,
of course we do,
but we get along without you very well.

We've forgotten you just like we should,
of course we have,
except to hear your name
or recordings steeped in acclaim,
but we've forgotten you just like we should.

Girls and guys, it springs no surprise,
our firm upper lips failed to kid the moon;
what's in store? We select from your
oeuvre a compensatory tune ...

We get along without you very well,
of course we do,
especially in spring,
we readily remember spring
and legacy renewal by Michele,
yes - we get along without you very well.

Try to eat healthier ie cut down all stuff i like chocolates,crisps, cakes and fatty foods

Marian & Cyp, good resolutions. I was gettingmy spending down prior to my trip and of course when I got back I was slap bang into Xmas buying so now I will keep a lid on it.

I also love crisps and chocolate but eat them in moderation, you have to have some pleasure in life.

I'm with you all..gotta stop on the spending meaning staying away from the Burberry and H&M stores and the music stores (but it seems my car has a mind of it's own and just seems to find it's way there) also cut back on the eating stuff that's bad for me...but as Karl says..moderation..but how moderate is moderate. Gotta lose the holiday bulk!! Wish me luck!!
