OUR QUEEN

Post by karl » Fri Sep 09, 2022 8:20 am

The news of the Queen's passing came as such a shock yesterday, she has been the Queen my whole life so it will
seem strange without her. May she rest in peace.

Yes it was a shock as she was shaking hands with new Prime Minister Liz Truss on Tuesday.....she did look very frail on Tuesday but it was a big shock for her to pass away just two days later...... Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth ll you served your country with dignity and compassion .... now at rest with your beloved husband Prince Phillip 🥲🥲

I feel very proud of our country the way all the events have been handled and the Police etc have been amazing everything has gone like clockwork. My own great niece who recently joined the Glasgow Police was drafted through to Edinburgh to help out. The love and respect people are showing the Queen has been heartwarming.

Beautifully moving service today and special praise must go to the organisers and the Police, Armed Forces etc who carried out
their duties impeccably.

Makes us proud to be British when you see the way we do state occasions 👍
