I am interested to know whether the young german band - The Mickey Monroes - are actually named after the
great lady herself.

They have several hits posted on You Tube.

Mickey is spelt differently, as is Monroe, so I shouldn't think they are anything to do with 'our Mickie Monro.'

As far as I know this name is nothing but a coincidence.

As Marian said the spelling is all wrong!
