Thanks David,

I can now report after hearing the track that the version held by the UK Archives is not the same as the version in a Hispanic archive - be it Europe of South America.

Leonardo Schultz personally took copies of the tapes to South America and he may well have had the variant - and it's likely all masters elsewhere around the world came from his tapes.

Interestingly the Stereo mix of Alguien Canto appears to only have been sent to Argentina and has never (to my knowledge) appeared on CD from it's tape source - I had to take it from vinyl on the Spanish 2 on 1. The problems is that EMI UK doesn't deal with it's non English speaking branches very well so wasn't prepared to track down the Master (Mono is all that exists in the UK archive).

If anyone does know of a Stereo CD release of Alguien Canto (Other than on the 2 on 1 CD) please let me know.

I have a CD entitled Alguien Canto that was made in Czechoslovakia in 2000 Richard.
I presume this will be from the same recording source as Grandes Exitos En Espanol though, as it has the same song list, but not necessarily in the same order

Thanks Marian,

What I mean is the actual Song "Alguen Canto" rather than the album.
