Matt Monro Forum

Whilst we are all devoted Matt Monro fans, most of us enjoy a wide range of music tastes.

I think it would be interesting if you would produce a weekly round up of new developments in the music industry particularly
in the crooner/easy listening genre that would interest us monroettes. A kind of "Richard Round Up".
This would keep the site vibrant and make for a regular good read.

It's very kind of you to think of me - unfortunately whilst I do work for EMI it's only one of my jobs and time is not on my side!

Not only that but i'm not really up to speed with what's happening with other artists any more than the other really fab members of this forum are (and write about elsewhere in the forum).

The other problrm is that although I am privy to lots of info about Matt this is not hte case with other artists where I have little sway in what is decided - The recent Cilla Black DVD for instance (from the Definitive Collection) I did all the work on the DVD (clean up, authoring etc) but had no insite to the compilation or anything behind the scenes - I spoke to a representative of Cilla Black LTD a few times and that's it!

My work is quite technical and the things I do would probably be quite dull to the average reader.

However if i do find out anything tha would interest forum members I will pass it on.
