This Is The Life

Want to ask Richard Moore something - go for it! He is a veritable walking encyclopedia and is never happier than talking music.

This Is The Life

:?: Wouldn't it be a good idea to release This Is The Life as a single, to get Matt another "hit" single after all these years :) ...............after all, the publicity the song is getting at the moment is HUGE :)

Watch this space, it is coming out as a download. It would be so nice to see dad in the charts again, even if it is the download. I know you all have it but please spend the 59 pence and buy it to support dad, it will mean more exciting projects in the next few years.

This is The Life is being released as a single re the download sites so hopefully the radio stations will be plugging it soon. It would be brilliant if we could get dad in the charts again as it would lead to other things. The cost is only 59 pence so dig deep folks.

We have managed to catch the ad in between programmes and as usual Matt sounds great.

Good news about the download - you can count on us too. :D :)

It's not in the top 100 of the Official Chart. I don't have access to the top 200, but I doubt it's there either. It's very hard to make the chart if you're not R & B/hip hop or featured on X Factor, Glee, or a dancing/skating programme.

On January 31st, This Is The Life was #730 on the iTunes (overall) chart. That's pretty good. On February 2nd it had dropped to #763.

On the iTunes Top 100 Vocal Chart, here are the Matt Monro tracks:

6 Born Free
21 On Days Like These
70 The Impossible Dream
73 This Is The Life
89 From Russia With Love
98 Softly As I Leave You

This implies that Born Free and On Days Life These may be higher than #763 on the iTunes chart. But no one has posted their positions on the forums I checked.

I din't expect it to be in the chart yet as the radio stations have not received the PR release yet but I am hoping once we get air play and I send an email out to the whole fan base (not just Forum) we might get somewhere.
