I noticed that someone is selling the special edition of the book for £90.00. I only hope people realise that can get it for forty pounds less if they go to the right sites.

It makes you wish you could just contact some of these bidders doesn't it?

Quite honestly, if someone is stupid enough to pay that sort of price without doing a little research first, than they deserve to be ripped off !!!

I agree with both your sentiments Marians, even though both sentiments are different :| .......... :)

Mmmm E Bay is a strange beast, today I have bought a 45 of Portrait of my love for 99p in its paper sleeve, for all I know it may not be perfect, I will find out in a few days. It will go in my box of meaningful things and will look at it lovingly from time to time.
Research is really important if spending more than a couple of pounds.
I am a "less is more" kind of person and I love this bit from a song by Sea sick Steve..............I came into this world with nothing, and I still have most of it left. Love and laughter to all you Matt Fans.

Hi Dee--always good to welcome another member to the Forum.

I am a great Ebay fan--both selling and buying--I have bought some bargains--and sold some stuff at a good price--but what I love best is getting something that just cannot be found anywhere else.

Hello ladies, I feel like I have found long lost family. I am new to the world of computers and typing! What a joy though to find you all chatting away about this and that, and having the shared joy of loving Matt Monro's music.
I realise there is a whole world of stuff I have missed on the TV in recent years but am reassured that it will all be repeated eventually so
I have all that pleasure yet to come. As yet I only own one CD and DVD, for the moment it's enough but I realise there is more and I have asked family to consider this when birthdays and Christmas come around.
I do agree about ebay being the place to find those really quirky, one off things.
I will be putting a photo up fairly soon, another little thing to learn how to do.
