Matt opens disco at John Lewis Solihull!!

It was time for our AGM at John Lewis in Solihull. As co-owners in the unique John Lewis business, every branch has one of these to say thanks for all our hard work and reflect on our achievements.

Anyway, after the presentation was over, I was sat enjoying my buffet when the disco started up with some easy listening to help us digest the mini-pizza and honey-drizzled cocktail sausage. Imagine my delight when the opening strains of 'From Russia with Love' drifted over the crowded room!

'MATT MONRO!!!' I exclaimed loudly, 'I love his voice!' to which Janet next to me replied 'Really Michael? You don't look old enough!'

Another Matt in Solihull moment. After a busy Bank Holiday Monday at work, I climbed it my car, turned on the radio, just as Simon Mayo started to play 'On days like these'. What bliss :wink:
