By the way, just like Matt’s grandson Max, I also make a point of putting the most recent release of Matt’s to the front of the rack when I visit my local CD stores!!!
As well as “The Man With The Golden Voice“ this year has seen “The Ultimate†CD which put Matt well and truly back into the album charts, “An Evening With†where I had the chance to see for the first time how Matt could entertain a live audience and sound just as good he did in a recording studio, “Portrait†where because of the many warm tributes from both family and friends I learnt so much about the man himself, The “Matt Sings Monro†Tour - I am so looking forward to seeing Matt jnr perform in Lowestoft on the 4th November, and not forgetting the launch of this excellent website where Matt’s many fans can come together and share their thoughts and memories of, without doubt, the best male singer the UK has ever had.
What a wonderful year this has been for fans of Matt.
Michelle - you, your mum, brother and the rest of your family must feel so proud, and rightly so, that at long last your father is getting the recognition he so clearly deserves. Something his fans from all over world have already known for some time.
