No worries Mark, that was my hope, that people would start threads about those Matt albums that are a great starting point for people who may only be familiar with the compilations, to discuss them. Thanks for taking it up.

This original album from 1969 is one i've been trying to find for some time now. Interesting cover, I think.



Matt is still a legend in Spain because of these records, and I believe he learnt the lyrics phonetically? Is that the case?

The cover I have is different -picture of a boy&girl embracing on the front.
I had my copy of the LP transferred onto CD-I think you're right about Matt's learning Spanish,Michelle will know for sure.
It was mentioned that way in the BBC THREE documentary.
