New DVD

Post by Tony Vegas » Sat Jan 17, 2009 4:23 pm

Hi Everybody,
I am looking forward very much to the new DVD & will definitely be getting it as soon as it becomes available,...After watching Matt's life story on the biography channel again,Thanks to the digital age I watch it over & over again it suddenly occurred to mewhile Matt was in America did he ever meet Sinatra, Martin etc?, It never actually said.
All the best to you all,
Tony Vegas.

In another Matt DVD or programme it says Matt never actually met Sinatra. Matt did attend a Sinatra concert at the Royal Festival Hall once (in the audience) - I think that is the closest Matt got to meeting FS :)

I'm sure you're right Robert. Of course Matt was great friends with Sammy Davis Jnr. and he probably did meet up with other great singers while in the U.S. :D

Hi Bill, good to see you and glad to hear you are keeping busy. How's the jogging going on these cold and frosty mornings. ? We'd love to join you Bill, the flesh is willing,.... full stop.
Somehow a warm breakfast and a newspaper has more appeal.

Jogging!

Post by Billmiler » Mon Jan 19, 2009 12:20 pm

But Harry you can jog with a bowl of cereal in your hands! On these cold days I find my favourite cereal does the trick every day 'Batman and Robin' is a fantastic serial!!!
Glad all well. A glimmer of light just after 5pm means that Spring is around the corner!
I have a minor show at 2.30 today and then a Seniors Club on Wednesday.
Great to talk!
