I couldn't believe it when you told me about this earlier today Marian. Let's keep everything crossed this time.

I know what you mean about the Royal Mail, Marian, everything they deliver is either bent or damaged in some way   the last photo I received from the US last week, was well packaged, it had the words Do Not Bend printed twice on both sides, but guess what, yes, the package was bent in two on the four corners   they must do it on purpose.

My third copy in as many weeks arrived today safely in one piece! :D :D
I was so afraid to even open it, as I had come to believe it was impossible for Royal Mail to deliver one whole.
I am over the moon. :D :D
My last seller was a wonderful good Samaritan who when his arrived broken, looked on line to find me another copy and then paid the postage on it for me. You don't meet many like that these days, but it seems they do exist, even on ebay!
The dealer I bought this one from is also rather special as he packed it in 6" box polystyrene that defied even Royal Mail!
Anyway, really happy to report a positive result. The Garden of Eden has joined my collection at long last! :D :D :D

Marian :D

Your last seller sounds a great person to go to all that trouble for you--i have to admit that I do not think I would like to pack up a 78 for postage--especially in this day and age, they are just so fragile----so the fact that it has arrived safely is quite astounding.
