Just listened to Matt singing 'The Precious Moments', a favourite track of mine and it got me thinking it would make an excellent title for compilation of his lesser known recordings... so here is my personal selection a few of Matt's tracks which don't get so much airplay as others... I've got so excited picking out what to choose I feel I must now burn a cd of these to play in the car on the way to work next week. After a busy day, there is no one like Matt to help me chill

Anyway, here they are...
The Precious Moments (Beautiful words, Matt singing at his best - who could ask for more... # Yes, Theeeeeese Are The Moments... #)
How Soon (I love this song, just wish the track was slightly longer...)
I Will Wait For You (The words to this song have a very special meaning for my partner and I...)
The Long & Winding Road (Not to everyone's taste I know, but I prefer the Beatles songs when they are sung by someone else & I think Matt does an excellent job here...)
The Music Played (Is there a stereo version of this dramatic song sung by Matt in english?)
One Day Soon (From the deleted cd "Matt Sings Don Black", I just adore Matt's final note and then the orchestra closes with those five last notes... just beautiful)
The Me I Never Knew (Having been a fan of Matt's for so many years it was such a joy when I heard this lovely song for the first time... the Matt I never knew..)
More (Although I enjoy Matt & Matt jnr's track, it has to be Matt's original recording, makes me well up everytime I hear it... sentimental old fool that I am...)
You Bring Out The Best In Me (Matt's final single - which I believe can only be found at the moment on cd in the Readers Digest collection "Yesterdays")
Walk Away (Yes I know I said lesser known tracks, but this recording must be included as it always has & always will be my favourite of all Matt's recordings...)
I'm now off to find some more rare tracks to fill up my own cd compilation with...
Regards to you all,
Glenn
# Treat them with care
For they are rare
And let’s be glad
They are there
Be glad they are there #
