:wink: i dont know if any of you matt fans listen to the radio atall but try listening to primetime radio..the digital radio station is fab..matt is always played .ed stewart on radio 2 on sunday is great too he always get a request for our matt....give it a try...... :)

Yes, we listen to the Radio, mostly on Sundays and we heard Ed Stewart play Matt's " On Days Like These" on his programme, and earlier Russell Davies played Matt's " What A Wonderful World on his show". 8)

There's a radio station just at the end of my street - FOXY 88.5 - and they requently pay Matt. What a treat to hear him in the car!

:) hello lena and harry ,you sound like a couple after my own heart. sunday is radio day in my house .good ,real classy music .radio 2 and prime radio is great all day..david jacobs at 11 o clock on radio 2 playing real music ....just like our matt. :wink: :) 100% gold

Your right Gary. Sunday radio was even better still with Desmond Carrington's regular two hourly spot. We miss that, even with it being moved to a Tuesday evening, not the same, but there is a very good programme on Sunday morning at 9.5 am on Radio Wales called "A String Of Pearls" with presenter Dewi Griffiths, plays all the good stuff. you can get it on the internet. Give it a try. :D

:)ill give it a try.....i agree desmond carrington on sunday was great..1 hour on tuesday is not enough...i sent an e mail to radio 2 at the time and they replied.....desmond made way for new blood [elaine paige show] and that there was little chance of him returning to sundays...

We were treated with Matts, "The Second Time Around " on the David Jacob's Collection Sunday radio programme last evening.
David said that the more he plays of Matt Monro, the more everyone wants to hear him.
And so say all of us !!! :D :wink:
