Hey all where could I get a copy of Yesterday - The Manila Concerts? I've looked at Amazon but can't seem to find it? I'd love to hear it and how Matt interacts with the Filipino audience. :D Any highlights on there that stand out, but I'm sure the whole thing does!! :D

I know some people have had shipping to the U.S. refused by Amazon U.K recently, and I hope you don't get the same problem Eman.
If you do, I'm sure someone here would ship it for you. :D

I vaguely remember Paul saying he ordered something from Amazon UK -it may have been the "Words and Music" collection, and he was quite impressed with the price of the cd and the postage.

I have ordered stuff from various US websites, and never once I have I had to pay customs--I always thought customs was only due over a certain amount.

We agree Mariana that the picture on the Words & Music CD is one of the best of Matt. He looks so very relaxed and happy.

We have found two more of our favourite CD covers whcih are Songs of Love and Original Gold.

:D :D

Customs duty used to be chargeable here on items worth more than $20 Marian, but it could be different now.
I remember once having to pay more than the value of the item on a record package from the U.S.
You also used to be able to pay any charge to the postman, but they can no longer take money, so any customs charged item has to go back to the postal depot, usually miles away, and you have to collect it and pay there. Not good!

I've only once had to pay customs once on a set of dvd's, it was a bit of a shock when the postman put the card through the door and said there was a charge and I had to go and pick it up. I think it was about £12.00. I had already paid through the nose for postage as well.

Yes Robert the CD you have was issued in 1998 and the cover as you say is Matt wearing a brown cardigan.

However we have a CD set which was originally issued in 1997 also called Songs Of Love with a different picture of Matt wearing a black polo neck jumper and this was the one we chose.

All the tracks are exactly the same as the ones on the CD set you have.

:) :)

Customs charges should be enforced when an item costs £18 or more..........but they do not alwys adhere to this rule..............thankfully :) .....................I ordered an item from the US a few weeks ago and I should definitely have paid, but the item was delivered without charge :)

Yes, it seems you can just be unlucky occasionally, as I've had some delivered without charge too. I know some U.S. sellers don't like selling to the U.K as they are sometimes asked to put a lower value on the customs form than the item is worth. Can't say I've ever done that myself!!!!
