I was just going to ask about downloading the M&S one-also the Tesco one. Yes, i agree, I often just download a single track-but not normally Matt. You just have to buy these albums when you see them, as they are usually very limited.

That's true, it seems many of the releases are never reissued.

Greg: you need to have These Years / The Late Late Show in your collection. It's nice to hear the songs in the original order of the album and a few of the songs rarely make the collections.

I remember Michele talking about another release that was exclusive, I think it might have been to Boots, I believe it is only called "Matt Monro."

It is difficult to say exactly what I have in my collection.
All the UK singles from 1960 to 1985, plus several U.S. singles and several Spanish/Argentina singles.
All the U.K. E.P.'s plus several foreign country LP's
All the U.K. LP's, plus all U.K. compilation LP's, plus the majority of the U.S. ones and the majority of the Spanish LP's. Also 2 Japanese LP's which cost a pretty penny, one of them red vinyl.
As far as the cd's are concerned, approximately about 50, not including box sets.

I can confirm that John has an impressive selection of Matt Monro lps etc, as he actually sent some down to the first "Fans Reunited" so that we could see some of the Rarities--not sure if i would have trusted the Post Office myself.

I do not ever remember seeing any cds made by or for Boots--could it be the Tesco one you are thinking of, Marian ?

The Tesco and M&S CD's do contain a couple of tracks not available elsewhere at present due to a few of Matt's albums not making it on to CD yet but hopefully this will happen eventually.

What albums do you need to get everything?
Studio Material
1. The Original Albums - From Decca through to If I Never Sing Another Song
Decca - Available on many different releases
Love Is The Same Anywhere - EMI CD (Deleted)
Sing's Hoagy Carmichael - Words and Music
I Have Dreamed - EMI CD 'SINGS' - (Deleted)
This Is The Life/Here's To My Lady (2 on 1 CD) (Deleted)
Invitation To Broadway (Hollywood and Broadway) (Deleted)
Invitation To The Movies (US CD)
These Years/Late Late Show (2 on 1 CD) (Deleted)
We're Gonna Change The World (US Title Close To You) - Not on CD but most tracks available.
For The Present/The Other Side Of The Stars - (2 on 1 CD) (Deleted)
The Long And Winding Road - Not on CD
If I Never Sing Another Song - Not On CD

2. The Complete Singles Collection
3. Both Rare & the Upcoming Rarer sets
4. The Three Spanish LP's two of which have been on CD on a 2 on 1. The third has only been made available as a Digital Download, no CD available. This is controlled by SEI corp and not EMI.

Live
1. Yesterday - The Legendary Manila Concert
2. Live In Australia (EMI) - Not to be confused with the download of the same name
3. Born Free (Delta Leisure) - Contains almost all of the tracks licenced by the estate to One Media

TV/Radio
1. Matt At The BBC
2. Matt Sings Nelson Swings
3. Heart Of A Man
4. The Singer's Singer - The Life and Music Of Matt Monro - SPECIAL RESERVE CD

Other compilations containing exclusive material.
1. The Singer's Singer (4 CD Set) - Too many songs to list (2011 edition recomended)
2. The Greatest - I'll Never Fall In Love Again
3. Matt At The Movies - Love Story/When I Look In Your Eyes/It's Alright With Me (EMI Big Band Version)
4. From Matt With Love - Historia De Amor
5. The Ultimate - It's A Wonderful World/One Voice
6. The Collection - Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head/Yesterday When I Was (Plus a few tracks that don't appear on other CD's)
7. More Heartbreakers - One Day (Alt Take)
8. Words and Music - Lazy River (With Cleo Laine), Nearness Of You (Terry Parsons Demo) Plus Alt takes

Material from albums only released on these compilations
1. Tesco Exclusive - Close To You

I can't remember if I posted them down or if Richard took them down, Marian. :) I know I brought a couple of things with me to the second Fans Reunited.

I expect that is what happened--you would need to be brave to trust the post office these days, unless you had no choice !

Thanks for the list Richard.

I have all the studio albums you can get on CD, plus the TV, radio and live discs. I am lacking in complilations. I only have Singer's Singer, From Matt With Love, Complete Heartbreakers, Ultimate and Greatest, plus Man Behind The Voice. Plus I have the DVDs.

I've just realised that there is one track missing!

I've forgotten the english version of 'Two People' on Sings Don Black.

I want to catalogue my cd's & dvd's but I seem to have lost the link to a spreadsheet an can't work out how to find it.

I had my cd's on PC years ago but then I had a virus and lost it all.
