It's a bit late now but Matt was on Tony Blackburn's Pick Of The Pops on 3rd
November singing Walk Away it was then at number 4, fabulous song should have made No 1.It's a great shame that he never had a No1 great shame.

Christine there are many great songs and singers that never had a number one or only reached the top once, Dusty and Jackie Trent only reached the top spot once,

It would have been great if Matt had reached the top especially with quality songs like Born Free and Walk away to name two.

It was 'Portrait' as it was only January '61 and still number 3. :D :D

Russell Davies finished his programme last night with 'BREEZING ALONG WITH THE BREEZE' .
Also a nice pic of Matt on the bottom of his web page.
He said that he only had time to finish off with a short tune and was pleased it played right through.He suspected the drummer was Kenny Clare but he wasn't named. :D :D
