Very neat that you requested Mary's Boy Child and the station played it.

I have both songs on the Christmas crooners CD (HMV label). Many great songs on there.

The question on Ken Bruce Pop Quiz this morning-------- in 1991 Vic Reeves and the Roman Numerals covered a song made famous by Matt Monro--answer Born Free.Ken went on to say that even though everyone knows that Matt recorded that song it was never a hit for him.

That is true, but I wondered how many single copies (when people bought singles) it did sell over the years?

You are right there Sandra about how when people bought singles
Also talking of Vic Reeves and Born Free when he was on Tipping Point he won the top prize of £20.000 and gave it too the Born Free Foundation ...Good on him.
