I heard Matt's My Kind Of Girl played on Tony Blackburn's Sounds of the Sixties on 22nd April, and Tony also mentioned the album that featured Matt and Tony tracks.

Also I spotted this page which shows when Matt tracks are played on the radio. It covers all BBC radio shows though, and not just Radio 2. Just click on "tracks" to see the list of all plays, and who played them.

Yes,thanks Mike very interesting :D And you will know that their was a Fontana special vinyl called Tony Blackburn meets Matt Monro but whether they ever did 'meet' I don't know :roll:

I love Matt singing this and the live dvd version is even better. Brenda Lee also recorded a nice version on an LP .

Elaine Paige On Sunday playing Born Free on one of her shows on lyricists. So of course this week it included Don Black :D

Always liked Matt singing that. What's Craig like on Elaine's show? I've got out the habit of listening to her on a Sunday but I love her laugh!
