Did anyone get "Matt At The Movies"? Went to HMV Oxford Street and Bond Street and Virgin Oxford Street yesterday - couldn't find it anywhere! Has it been delayed further?

I've pre-ordered my copy from Play.com so know it will take a few days to get here from Jersey.
Just checked the order and the release date is now given as 22/10/07, so it does look as though there may be a further delay.

I have just checked Amazon where I ordered mine from and there doesn't say anything about a delay there. Suppose we will have to wait and see, I didn't hold much hope on getting it the early part of this week due to the postal strikes and all the backlog.

Thanks for that info, Marian. That makes sense. It would be highly unusual for HMV not to stick a new release like that. Oh well, another week to wait, but at least it will be worth it.

I had an email from Amazon stating it has been delayed until 16th November.

The November release date explains why HMV has no graphics on their website yet.
I really can't believe HMV is selling it for 7.99, when From Matt With Love was 16 pounds in some of the stores.

Still have 22/10/ 07 on Play.com tonight. Will keep an eye on release date and let you know. £7.99 seems ridiculous, but it does indeed say £7.99 delivered, on HMV Guernsey.

I had it ordered at Play.com for 9.99 [incl postage], but have just cancelled and ordered from HMV instead.
HMV are very well priced at the moment-my sister had ordered 2 cd singles at £3.99 each-plus postage-- from Amazon---on HMV they were £1.99 each--free P/P. !!!

HMV are having a sale at the moment Marian. Casino Royale (2 disc) is only £6.99 and if anyone likes the old Fred and Ginger movies, their 8 disc box set is only £14.99

I had not realised they were having a sale too--but what surprised me with my sisters 2 cd singles is they were both pre-orders--not yet released at only £1.99 each. Just like "Matt at the Movies".

Have just noticed that the price for the album has now increased to £9.99 on HMV's Web site.
