That looks very strange--especially considering they are asking £51.00, but giving no details at all. The release date was quoted as some time in May, and if there had been anything new on the horizon, Michele or Richard would have let us know about it. My guess is that it is an unauthorised compliation disc, but why it is costing so much is a mystery.

I bought Love Is The Same Anywhere second hand from Amazon a few months back, and it was as good as new.

News to us. It looks like it's official as it comes from EMI.

My guess is that it's the left over stock from Michele's QVC appearences as EMI bought the DVD stock from Odeon directly, so it may well be a package containing the Greatest and Ultimate DVD. £51 seems a bit steep for that so perhaps they are including something else too.

The Audiophile Gold CD is from Asia/Philippines and despite the 'Audiophile' tag is from the same old masters maybe even 2nd generation tape dubs, just on a gold CD! The UK tapes have certainly not been used directly.

Richard, I'm wondering if this one has anything to do with the EMI/Dyna Records label which distributes Matt's cd's. If not it could be a boot and I'd hate for someone to be making a profit for their own gain from any artists work. As you know piracy is really heavy in the Asian countries and they have stuff coming in from places like Hong Kong, Singapore and most especially Taiwan. I used to see the vendors selling the stuff in the open markets and various other places.

I'm not sure. I think Michele has a copy in the archives. I don't think it's a bootleg, but it's also not on EMI as they no longer exist directly in the Philippines (And definitely not Dyna - that agreement apparently ended in the 1990's and apart from 1 compilation has not been rekindled). I believe it is a licenced product.

EMI material now appears on the label "PolyEast" in the Philippines.

Never mind Robert, it's on it's way from the U.S. anyway. £14+ with postage. At least it brings it home to the U.K!
