Please could I ask...

Did your Dad ever get nervous before performing live or appearing on telly?
Also, did your father have a favourite song(s) he loved to perform or was especially proud of?

Apologies for this typo, but my heart is still beating 10 to the dozen after the England vs Argentina football game!

Dad would always look very calm, cool and collected before a performance but I have never met any artist who doesn't have a small pang of concern before performing. The minute the curtain goes up or the cameras roll they disappear.

As to a favourite song, his very special one was "My Funny Valentine" which he always sung to mum, unfortunately he never recorded it.

By the way it would be great if you would log in and post an avatar of yourself so that we can all see you. Further down the forum my man in Portugal ( a genius) is there to help you with the pictures or if you want to upload a picture to the scrapbook.

Sorry I forgot to log-in when I posted the query, I can only blame the England game - it left me in a tizzy!
Regards the photo of myself, I will send a couple to 'Murph' and see if he can do anything with them, any re-touching to resemble a young Paul Newman would be appreciated!
I don't have any pictures of myself alone, they will no doubt contain my children as well - hope this is ok.
