Browsing on Amazon tonight I noticed The Very Best Of Matt is number one in Traditional & Popular Vocal.

Great news! Now then where do I put the 5000 copies I bought to get him there. Yes I'm joking about that but he is definitely the number one seller I wouldn't joke about that.

Isn't this one of the CDs Richard said was about to be deleted?

Not sure Mike but I susppose the older releases have to make way for the new onl and Matt has so many cds's available.

Yes this one is being deleted - however we have no idea how much stock Warners have of this title which has been a constant best seller for many years (first issued on vinyl in 1974!!) so it may still be around for a while yet.

Officially the Warner's catalogue only has these titles still in print

and possibly

Pretty much everything else was deleted either a while ago or during the Universal/Warner's buy out, although many items may still be available as downloads. Material such as Words & Music and Nelson Riddle have come to the end of their contracts with the estate.

Non Warner's projects still available are

Born Free - Delta (Live radio & Manila tracks)
Matt Monro Sings - Not Now Music (Decca & Australian concert film soundtrack)

Yesterday & Heart of the Man - both Night Owl CD's, are also deleted as the company has closed.

Everything you see up for sale other than the titles listed above are either old stock or second hand.

There is one other title - but it is currently only available from Michele on cruses which is a new pressing of Live In Australia (1984) which is on my own label - I hope to be able to release more things and with wider distribution in the not too distant future.

That's interesting Richard that you have your own label, is there any difference in the new pressing of the Live In Australia cd (i.e. extra tracks, new sleeve etc)?

What is the name of your label? Perhaps in the future you can offer some items on here.

Well it's not much of a label if it only has one release! - It's simply called Mint Audio

Yes it has a different cover and two previously unreleased bonus tracks from a different Australian concert, these are not as good quality as the rest of the disc though.

I'm sure Michele will be able to offer some for sale through this site once she is settled in her new home.

I have plans to issue some other things and sell them to a wider audience - watch this space as it were.

Well Richard at least you have one release and I'm sure there will be more, if you plan on reviving some other artists albums on cd I could compile a lengthy list!!!
