Matt And Eurovision

Post by Sandra » Sun May 13, 2018 8:41 am

An interesting programme on TV called 60 Years Of Eurovision.Once again no mention of the name Matt Monro who came 2nd with I Love The Little Things in 1964 for Great Britain because their is no trace of any footage for that year.

I wondered whether this was the only year that was 'wiped' and if has happened since ?

Yes I watched it last week, I don't think they mentioned Clodagh Rodgers either.
I have avoided this "farce" for years as that's all it is now but I did see part of the scoring, all I can say is if that's the winning song then God help music - that is not a song in my opinion!!!

Doesn't it make you glad we were born in an era that had great singers, musicians and songs? That isn't music that they serve up today it's just rubbish!
