MATT ON PAUL O'GRADYS FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS

Matt was played very briefly on last night's show and I'm sure another song of Matt's was played near the end but it wasn't one
I am familiar with, definitely sounded like Matt though.

The same here Karl. I couldn't place the song either. I was relying on you John x On the same show a couple of weeks ago we heard snatches of And You Smiled. I wonder if Paul chooses his own music for the show.We know that he is a big fan of Matts music.

Yes I heard them as well the first " I Am" but I couldn't get the other one and two weeks ago heard " And You Smiled" I wonder the same if Paul picks the music.

I had a quick flick through on ITV player, the first one was "I Am", like Christine said, and the second near the end was "A Time For Love".

Of course it's I Am I should have remembered that, I have the single with I Am In Life on the other side that always amused me two similar sounding titles on one disc.

It's the same with " Yesterday" and on the other side it's " Just Yesterday".

Christine years ago a friend who had his own record shop gave me a Gladys Knight single called I Just Want To Be With You with You Don't Have To Say I Love You on the other side. If that wasn't a nod to Dusty I don't know what is!

Matt singing My Kind Of Girl on the opening of the latest Paul O'Grady show For The Love Of Dogs last night. A very sad watch knowing Paul is no longer here.
