I'm rediscovering this great swing song on Matt Monro The Collection, track 10. It's written by Joe Kentridge, whom I've never heard of. I wish I could find the sheet music as I would use it in shows.

#11 is another of my favourites: Ethel Baby.

Always nice to have a few rare gems on the greatest hits compilations. I've been playing all my compilations -- a long process as I have many!

Yes, I like that song too Paul, it is from the wonderful album "I Have Dreamed". I am hoping this album will someday get the Richard Moore treatment, although I know it was released on a 2 disc set called Matt Monro Sings about 30 years ago.

I can't find this song on any of my Matt cd's, unless I've gone word blind!

I can only see it on an EMI Gold CD as Paul says called The Collection in 2004

Ah yes John Matt Monro sings. A Music For Pleasure CD track 5 in 1991. CD-DL1072 Stereo. Might have to listen again to this one !

Thanks Sandra I have that cd, I was looking at my cd's in fat boxes as I keep them separate and Matt has a few packaged that way.

That's the one Sandra, one disc has the I Have Dreamed album and the other is the Hoagy Carmichael album plus a few other tracks on each disc.

Yes John it would be great if Richard ever gets chance to give his treatment to I have dreamed as it is a really good album.

On checking It's a Breee it was a surprise to find it on 5 albums and
5 CDs but of course it is a great Matt song.
