TW just played 'From Russia with love' on his Children in Need donation request show adding that 'I don't need paying to play a track by the great Matt Monro - you're leaning on open door when you ask us to play his music'

Hi Mike,
It was GOOD to hear Matt this morning.
I have just requested "On days like these" so hopefully before the day is out, there could be another song by the GREAT Matt.

Hello everyone
Yes, I requested 'From Russia With Love' and Sir Terry read out my name along with my partner Clintons after he played the song.
I know from what Terry always says after he plays anything by our Matt that he is a fan, so you can safely say if you get in early enough we usually get to hear Matt on this special day.
Such a good cause, and a wonderful reason to hear Matt singing for us.....
