Australian Tribute

I have just received this lovely tribute from one of our fans in Australia. I hope Cyril doesn't mind me sharing it with you. He has changed the words to one of Hoagy Cramichael's songs as a tribute to Matt

We get along without you very well, of course we do
except when soft notes flow brings back the magic that we know
the thrill of being captured by your charms, of course we do
but we get along without you very well
We've not forgotten you they said we should maybe they have
except to hear your name or someones laugh that is the same
we've not forgotten you, no way we could
What a guy, you reached up to the sky, your mountain
you climbed it to the moon
what's in store, should we cry once more
no it's best that we hear one more tune
We get along without you very well, of course we do
except perhaps in spring your songs remind us all of spring
and that would surely break our hearts in two
but we get along without you very well
amen
Cyril

Hi Lena and Harry and all. You should have finished your sentence off Lena and Harry "Nice one Cyril, nice one son, nice one Cyril, let's have another one", as the last one was so good. :D :D

Hi Robert and Marian, yes perhaps we should have done, we have even got the record of "Nice One Cyril " it's on a 45rpm sung by the Cockeral Chorus with "Cyril Marches On" on the flip side..
Then we also have "Give em The Ol One Two" with Goal on the flip side sung by The Queen's Park Rangers Club.
