Whenever a cd is released, I would purchase it. The cd "Matt Monro Sings Don Black" apparently was never released in America. Does anyone know why? Also, there are about six to seven songs on the cd that are missing from my library. Does anyone know where I can purchase either a new or used copy of the cd?

Not sure that this will help you much really Grandpajan but I looked for this cd for a long time myself and the only place I could get it was on the UK version of ebay. I suppose maybe it could appear at some point on the US version but most sellers do ship abroad if required. I also tried gemm.com and
www.musicstack.com. I had no luck on there which is why i tried ebay but you could try there also if you haven't already.
I understand this is now a pretty scarce cd to get hold of so good luck searching!
best wishes,
Lee H

What are the rare songs on this cd that has so many people hunting for it? Aren't these songs available anywhere else?

The 'rare' songs are as follows: All the Wishing in the World, Beyond the Hill, One Day Soon, Wish Now Was Then, All of a Sudden, Two People, and When You Become a Man.
One or two of these songs have been released on compilation CDs of various artists, but they don't crop up very often (if at all) on any of Matt's own CDs (in the UK at least), hence the reason why the Don Black compilation is so sought after.

Hi Lee Wilkins, thanks for the info. However, 2 of the
songs BEYOND THE HILL & WHEN YOU BECOME A MAN, are on the UK cd MATT MONRO - BY REQUEST.
That means there are 5 rare songs in this cd.
