An uncanny coincidence this afternoon. We gave my Sister-in-Law the DVD The Rare Monro and "An evening With Matt" for Christmas, the reason because my (Lena's) brother who passed away Four years ago, Matt was his favourite singer. On her arrival today and showing her the photos of the Fans re-united, she said that she cried the whole way through watching the DVD but just loved it.
Just at that moment Matt was singing "Portrait Of My Love" in the play and practically the whole way through too which is unusual, and so there were more tears.

I too saw the afternoon play on BBC 1 as I popped into to see mum and she was watching it, how wonderful Matt Snr sounded, and yes i agree they never usually play a song the whole way through, which made it quite special, hope your sister in law isnt too upset, it was lovely that she enjoyed the Christmas prezzies.[/b]

Hi Kimberley, so glad that you and your mum saw the play and enjoyed hearing Matt. I must admit that although we had lost the plot through talking, we first of all heard Perry Como sing and then were amazed to hear Dean Martin, and we both said perhaps we'll get Matt, and we did and also Guy Mitchell.
