If you got to the Songbook link Ed, on the home page, there's a list of all Matt's Spanish songs there, as well as the English discography. I think it's just a few more than 47.

I'm researching this at the moment, but basically there are three main albums, the odd single track and the odd track on a compilation - However a lot of the tracks listed as spanish in discographies are not actually in Spanish. There's one LP for instance called TIEMPO DE AMAR where the tracks are all listed as a spanish versions but are in fact all standard English language versions. There are quite a number of other albums with the same problem.

Two whole spanish Language albums will be released on CD soon. The other album is UN TOQUE DE DISTINCION from the late 70's.

Apart from UN TOQUE DE DISTINCION the only track I believe not to be available on CD - once the new disc is issued - is the spanish version of One Day Soon - Although I may be wrong. I'm still researching things.

The Definitive list should help you - just ignore any spanish tracks listed for TIEMPO if they are not listed as appearing in Spanish elsewhere!

THANKS RICHARD, I KNOW ABOUT THAT LP ,"TIEMPO DE AMAR"

ALSO, "ONE DAY SOON" IN SPANISH (DE REPENTE UN DIA) WAS PRODUCED ON A 45, BUT I DON'T THINK IT WAS ON ANY ALBUMS.

I WROTE MICHELE AND BASICALLY SAID THERE WERE 8 SONGS IN SPANISH LISTED IN THE SPANISH SONGBOOK , THAT WERE IN ENGLISH,

I ALSO FOUND 6 SONGS NOT LISTED THAT WERE SUNG IN SPANISH.
SHE SAID SHE WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS.

I SEE ANOTHER SONG LISTED IN THE SPANISH SONGBOOK, THAT WAS NOT SANG IN SPANISH, NAMELY "LES FUEILLES MORTES" WHICH IS
"AUTUMN LEAVES" IN ENGLISH.

SO MY BEST GUESS IS A TOTAL OF 46 SONGS THAT MATT ACTUALLY SANG IN SPANISH.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A DIFFERENT NUMBER?
THANKS,
ED
