I can think of no better way of starting the New Year off then by listening to an hour's worth of Matt Monro in a special I recorded earlier last year.Matt Monro special. It is being broadcast on Saturday 1 January on Radio Redhill 1431AM at 10.00am and will be repeated on Monday 3 January at 12.00pm. This is a different programme to that of Matt Monro's Christmas Box.

Michele we so much enjoyed your Matt Monro special on Radio Redhill.
We loved the tracks that you chose to play by other artistes as well as your Dad.
Also the bits and pieces about your Dad that we hadn't heard before.

I listened in yesterday too and enjoyed the hour's special. I think I liked Matt Monro's Christmas Box just a wee bit better though.

Finally heard the Christmas box Marian.Really enjoyed the choice of songs Michele and your stories in between the tracks especially.
I think it was Jack Jones that swayed you Marian
What a shame that 'Christmas Is Magic' was never commercially released,
it is such a pretty song
