I'll be buying this Marian, I need a new best of with up to date remastering I've had "Heartbreakers" 20 or so years now, this has some songs that are on "Heartbreakers" that are'nt on other comps so I'll definitly buy this, I also want to see that "Hoagy Carmichael" CD come to fruition along with another twofer, so this selling well will go towards helping that aim as Richard states in "The Singles Collection" thread.

i had a message from Amazon this morning to say this cd won't arrive until March! Amazon are usually pretty good as well, and I haven't even had a message to say The Singles Collection are on their way, usually they send pre orders a few days early.

That's not so good John. I thought I heard somewhere that The Greatest was aimed at the Valentine's Day market. Not good if it's not coming out until March - hopefully it will be sooner, as we originally thought :)

I'm afraid that the release date for The Greatest has been moved! It is now 1st March so this is why the delivery date has changed. They are apparently aiming it at the Mothers Day market now!

Do please remember that the Singles isn't actually released officially until Monday so Amazon are not lagging behind much! I have often had Amazon e-mails saying the product has dispatched the day AFTER I've received the goods so perhaps it's on it's way!

Although we are waiting impatiently for 'The Greatest' Mothers Day should generate more sales than Valentines Day

You are probably right there Sandra, and Don, most of us Monro Maniacs can contain our excitement when there's new merchandise coming our way.
It's like Christmas is back here again already, but please someone tell me it isn't
