Well we're left and I'm happy to report that the seas are not high, in fact the Bay of Biscay is like a mill pond at the moment. Fingers crossed. I've spent the best part of the day unpacking and getting organised. I did take video yesterday but I need to work out how to download it. We're on our way to Barcelona and I'm hoping the weather will have warmed by then because it is freezing at the moment. I'll come back later once I've worked how to download the Bloggie films onto the website.

Hi Michele, Barcelona at this time would be just comfortable, not too hot and not too cold. If you get a chance go see the Chocolate Museum or the Segrada Familia church. A weird thing I always see in Spain, was the various Museo De Jamon (Ham Museums)..I guess they must love their hams, but in reality it's just a shop on almost every corner that sells various hams. Have fun!!

I would probably stay on the ship in Barcelona. I might do some shopping at El Corte Ingles but that's it. I much prefer Madrid, La Coruna, Toledo, and especially Seville and Cordoba. I haven't been to Valencia or Granada, but I know I'd like them better than Barcelona.

Please keep the reports coming Michele. We are now taking the world cruise with you!

Paul, yes I liked Madrid much better than Barcelona. Loved El Corte Ingles, did you ever go to FNAC? That was one of the stores I hit and bought up a bunch of cds.

Yes, I've gone to FNAC. I love their merchandising. I especially love the store on the Champs Elysee in Paris. I don't have a great memory of going to the FNACs in Spain, but I probably did. I remember the Virgin Megastores in Spain more clearly.

Paul, The last time I was in Spain was in 2007. FNAC was right across from El Corte Ingles. I don't remember seeing a Virgin though. I did like how FNAC and El Corte Ingles had their lay outs. Pretty cool. Heck I was even gonna buy a mock Gretsch guitar well I say that cuz I looked like a 1960's Gretsch that Michael Nesmith played on the Monkees..but I held back as I would have paid extra to bring it on the plane.

Clocks have gone forward an hour and I've woken to the most amazing sun rise. Not sure where we are at the moment but suffice to say we're en-route to Barcelona. Found out that several friends are on board, Peter Piper and Clem Curtis, both doing cabaret so have left a message for them to contact me.

My book is up for sale in the library, exciting, and I am now waiting to be told when my first show is.

You were so lucky that the Bay Of Biscay was like a millpond, when we sailed through there it was like Hurricane Katrina!!

We enjoyed the video clips on your facebook page. We were wondering how many crew did it take to move all your luggage and how long did it take them to get it to your cabin

Hope your first show goes well and we look forward to hearing all about it. We hope that they still play some of Matt's songs whilst waiting for the cabaret to start in the evening, that would be a nice touch for you especially.

Michele Clem Curtis was in The Foundations - right? My dad met him many years ago just at the start of their fame, dad met him onboard and spoke to him not having a clue who he was until Clem told him, he was pleased to see him later on tv as the man who spoke to me on the ship. Clem won't remember it but I do.
