I'm afraid to say every single modern Hallmark CD (This is the label that now calls it self Hallmark, NOT the budget label belonging to CBS in the 1980's/90's) I've heard comes from vinyl, and normally junk shop standard vinyl, transferred without even cleaning the record first!

More interesting is that there are sound clips here. Haven't had time to try many of them, though clearly the first one isn't right (unless you like Maroon 5)

After all Michele and Richard's hard work, I do not feel it is right to be striving for the cheapest deal on the market place. Just be thankful it will soon be available!

Marian don't tell me you don't like a bargain, are you saying you will seek out the most expensive seller for the cd then? Nobody pays more than they have to, even millionaire's like a bargain!

Michele herself said she strives to ensure the lowest price possible for Matt's products and we all appreciate that.

Just ordered from Amazon--£5.84 there, but like Marian, the price was not an issue--nevertheless that is a good price--but there was no info-no pic, no track list-just a release date of August 13th. Do you all have the same date ?

I hear there is a new site called Rip-Off Records and they are charging £99 for Matt's cd, I sent them Marian's address!!!!

£4.99 seems a crazy price for a new double CD, especially when CD prices have gone up in recent months. Maybe the low price will attract the casual listener / buyer.

Hopefully sales will be good as a reward for all the hard work that has gone into it. I like a bargain, but I want more CDs being produced in the future too.

MIke pre-order prices are often quite cheap then for some reason when the item is released the price increases.

Karl, so true, over here in the U.S. when a new album is released on the first week it's on sale, and then after one week it goes back to it's normal price.

Yes the release date slipped once more but it is now definitely 13th August.

I'm also waiting for HMV. I also checked wowhd and they didn't have it either.
