What version do you prefer?

I actually prefer the arrangement on Alternate Monro. There's just something raw and gritty about it which I can relate to.

I also have the other version. Bought it on iTunes from the Through The Years CD?

Both are great just wondered what one you lot preferred.

I agree with you Alex. I have always liked the song, like yourself I first heard it on Through The Years. The version on The Alternate Monro is quite different, I love it.

I like how they are so different. I love both, but it sounds like he's straining for some of the low notes on the Alternate version. But this adds something to this version. But I prefer the other version, the later recording, on Through the Years.

I don't get what you mean by straining? Sounds great to me

It sounds like he's having trouble hitting the low notes. They aren't as clear as the other version or Hava Nagila, where he hits a real low note.
