THE GEORGE MARTIN YEARS

Following the loss of Sir George earlier this year this compilation seeks to show exactly what made Matt & George such a great team.
This release features not only George's great productions but all of the songs he composed for Matt and many of his arrangements too!

There is a topic for this release further down the page. Does it not work properly or was it just not noticed?
Not a problem as i'll move this topic there later, just wondered if it wasn't working - As an admin it works fine for me, but that doesn't mean it does for everyone.

Glad you've got yours. I should have had mine a week ago but Warner ran out before they could send them out - Hopefully it means they are selling well. Looks like Amazon are out of stock too as they say 1 - 3 weeks. - It won't actually be that long as Warner have re-stocked and more should be with Amazon very quickly.

Please let us know what you think of it! A review on Amazon always comes in handy too!

I listened to the cd last night, wonderful sound quality and good choice of sounds. Really pleased to see "If This Should Be A Dream" added and a couple of of other tracks from the I Have Dreamed LP. Would like to see this LP reissued again in the future, I know it was released on the Matt Sings cd in the early 90's, but would be great to hear it all remastered.
Anyhow, thoroughly enjoyed the cd, the cover and sleeve photos and notes are good too.

Absolutely John. :D This is such a wonderful pure quality recording- Thankyou Richard.

So surprised to see 'If This Should Be A Dream'. I thought for a minute do I know this song? 'Tahiti' in stereo :D 'As Long As I'm Singing' 'One Morning In May'
(John and mines favourite singalongs)

The sleeve is very striking and stands out.Good to see Michele advertising her book on the inside too.

Congratulations Michele and Richard.Do hope that it sells in bucket loads :D
