An impressive result especially as it was out of stock for most of the week at Amazon

With Mothering Sunday today we hope that lots of sons and daughters of mothers have swelled the sales making it climb even higher in next weeks charts.

Wow Karl. No just the one :) Does any one know how many copies were sold for it to reach No. 8 in the album charts?

Given that this cd charted so highly I hope it may prompt the powers that be to release some of Matt's albums on cd that
haven't already been released. I'd like to see We're Gonnna Change The World album on cd, that is a great song and should have been a smash.

The album then plummeted down to below 40 - This is simply because people can't actually get copies. Amazon and the supermarkets won't take them due to the virus, HMV is closed and the distributors are on a skeleton staff. Oh well. At least we managed one week.

Yes, I was scheduled to get my copy from my local record shop but with the closure, I wasn't able to. I'd rather have a physical copy than a download. So until we get back to some normalcy, I'll have to wait.

Sorry to hear that Richard, it really is a great release. I hope after the current situation abates more people will have the opportunity to get a copy and hear the great work you've done.

Yes Richard it is such a shame there are no more copies and our local HMV store was closed all last week and in Tesco today they still have the sign saying "coming soon" which has been there for two weeks now as they sold out in the first week of release.

Don't quite understand the modern day charts as the official albums chart update 23rd - 29th March put it at No.13 and presume this was for week 2 in the charts. The albums chart top 100 27th March - 2nd April has it at number 43. 🙄

Hopefully when stocks get replaced sales will then again go up as this CD has received such good reviews.

Hope Universal will appreciate these slower sales are due to the worldwide Pandemic as other artists will have encountered the same difficulties.
