I also saw matt on many occasions in and around manchester, talk of the north , golden garter ,davenport theater,failsworth palace,mr. smiths(where they had topless barmaids) i only went to see matt honest.I was probably at the talk of the north when angela was.I saw him once at the palace theater with shirley bassey and roy castle on the same bill.Joe Pullen who owned the T.OF.T.N.used to put a tribute to matt on at the wendover hotel,which he owned, with a guy called mike shaun, who claimed he used to sing with matt for cyril stapleton, i dont know if that was true.I last saw mike in Benidorm a couple of years ago still belting them out.

Carrying on the Tradition of Matt Monro : ,

It was always a pleasure to listen to Matt Monro in his live performances,
but now having seen & listened to Matt Monro Jnr. at the recent FAN-CLUB MEET, the brilliant music just carries on.

Mrs. Monro, verified that the autograph that I treasure, was definitely the signature of Matt....given to me in 1979.

Matt Jnr. has now signed his autograph for me, side-by-side to his Father's
