Yes I saw the advert on tv for his new album the other day, i think he sings Born Free on the album, I am sure I heard him singing it.

I saw this cd in HMV on Moday, and yes "Born Free" was included--but apart from that, I was not impressed with the choice of songs--I usually really enjoy this type of recording, but I will not be buying this one.

The Album is called "That's Life." he sings another couple of Sinatra songs "You Make Me Feel So Young" "Strangers In The Night, " Nat King Cole's "When I Fall In Love" and yes, Matt's Born Free.
Nice to know that Russell has recovered enough to tour again.

Yes, he said he valued life so much now, which is why he wanted to release this album of songs about life.
They are not the kind of songs he is usually associated with. I personally prefer his earlier kind which appear to suit his vocal range better, but I wish him well, and every success for the tour.

I agree with all of you that it is good to see Russell touring and singing again-I have seen him on Tv a couple of times recently, giving interviews, and he is looking really well---I just think that the tracks on the new cd are not the most inspired.
